Palos Verdes Estates Wedding | Rowena and Andy

Palos-Verdes-Neighborhood-Church-Chris-Holt-Photography.jpg

Palos Verdes' Neighborhood Church provided a beautiful backdrop to hold Rowena and Andy's wedding and we were in awe of the simple yet classic beauty of this church. The church coordinator, Barbara Johnson gave us a brief history of the church estate and she was more than helpful to keep everyone on time and running smoothly.

Rowena and Andy told us they 'didn't really like taking pictures' and we totally understood what they meant. Although, I'm still trying to figure out exactly what they meant because they absolutely rocked it and enjoyed their wedding from beginning to end! Rowena wanted to make her own version of the movie, Bridesmaids and how could we say 'No' to that?! Haha!

Their reception was held at Palos Verdes Golf Club and it provided such an intimate space for their closest friends and family. David and his crew from Definitive Talents kept the music and party rockin' out while mixing a bit of 90's slow jams and hip hop with the current hits.

It might sound cliche, but we are so grateful to be able to bring the best out of our brides and grooms whether or not, they love the camera. Our goal is to create images that highlight the vision and effort every couple has put into planning their wedding, and we love every single minute of it.

I don't mean to brag, but here is a direct quote from Andy after we delivered their wedding previews:

We could not be happier with the way you guys treated us, and made us feel so comfortable. As you know neither of us particularly like taking pictures, and yet you managed to take some amazing pics that we will treasure. You guys fit right in with the rest of the family and friends, you were just more friends helping us capture our special day. We received more than expected and just could not be more pleased. Our pictures are perfect.

Malibu West Beach Club Wedding | Laura and Cory

The connection between these two was so beautiful to see while Laura and Cory celebrated their wedding at Malibu West Beach Club. These two have been together for about ten years and to see them marry and enjoy their wedding was simply a joy. We were anticipating this wedding pretty much all year since we photographed their engagement session at Carbon Canyon Regional Park and to see them with the same energy, excitement and happiness as we saw during their engagement session, was priceless.

The whole wedding day was so relaxed and easygoing and as hard as she tried, Laura just could not be demanding. She was so happy throughout the whole day and was such a pleasure to photograph.

We hope you enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed photographing them!

Congrats you two!!

Los Angeles Arts District Engagement Session | Danielle and Michael

Los Angeles Skyline + Love + 6th Street Bridge + Excitement + Metro Train + Anxiety = One Awesome Engagement Session!

Danielle and Michael chose to have their engagement session in Downtown Los Angeles and it was flawless. We encourage couples to choose their engagement session location in places they enjoy. Places they are comfortable with. Places that define them.

They asked to rock their session out in the Arts District in Los Angeles and we took them to one of the iconic spots to make sure we could capture as many elements of Los Angeles in their images. They told me they had never taken professional images and were pretty anxious. As the day went on, I realized they lied to me. They were not anxious at all!

If I can be biased at all, they were so comfortable and knocked their engagement out of the park!! Besides the 6th Street Bridge, we found some nooks and crannies to use throughout the Arts District and we couldn't have been more excited for them!

They're getting married in a few weeks, so if this was their engagement session, I can only wait for their wedding!

Congratulations to you guys and we can't wait to rock out your wedding!

In case you didn't know, this building serves as the backdrop for scenes for "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia".

For some reason, we absolutely love photographing with this building as a backdrop. We love the texture and different layers that this provides for our images. Apparently, so do Danielle and Michael! :)

Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden Wedding Preview | Sarah and Alex

Recently we had the distinct honor and privilege of photography Sarah and Alex's wedding at the beautiful Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden in Pasadena. Photographing weddings here is such a dream as it is so serene and beautiful.

Sarah and Alex were so calm throughout the day and we couldn't be more excited to be part of their day. Their closest friends and family surrounded them as they literally had an unplugged wedding with the ambient sound from the wind blowing through the trees and the water running over the rocks into the koi ponds created the most peaceful wedding ceremony we have been a part of.

Enjoy these preview images of their wedding until we are ready to publish the rest!

Summit House Wedding | Charisse and Justin

I can barely put into words the amount of energy, excitement and love surrounded Charisse and Justin throughout their wedding. They opted to be married in the beautiful St Paul the Apostle Church in Chino Hills and had their reception at Summit House Restaurant in Fullerton. They seem cool on the outside, but their friends and family definitely know how to celebrate!

We were able to help out our colleague Alex Mo  with Charisse and Justin's wedding and the team we had throughout the day was so awesome to rock out with. We're so grateful to be able to serve each and every couple we meet, and we absolutely love our "job".

Charisse and Justin brought it and loved every minute of their day. From the custom suits the grooms and groomsmen wore, to the uninhibited emotions they allowed themselves to feel. It was definitely a special day for them and it was on full display.

We're so happy for these two and many blessings to you guys!

The glow on Justin's face is all natural, no camera tricks or photoshop. The excitement and love between these two was truly radiant.
