Best of 2015 - The Weddings Part I

As 2016 starts to ramp up, I wanted to put a Wedding Year in Review as it was a pretty awesome year overall. We had so many couples that trusted us with photographing their wedding and we are extremely grateful to be able to do what we do. 

I've mentioned it in a few places on social media (in case you're not following be sure to follow our wedding and engagement updates @thechrisholt) and on our Best of Engagements for 2015, but we are so grateful to each and every one of our couples for their support for our Wedding Wire Couples' Choice Award for 2016! 

We're so happy to provide our creativity and talent to highlight our couples' weddings. Every time a couple chooses us to work with we are humbled with gratitude as each and every wedding is an absolute privilege.

Pasadena City Hall Engagement Session | Michelle and Daniel

Pasadena City Hall lends itself to a beautiful backdrop for engagement sessions and Michelle and Daniel's relaxed session did not disappoint. We started on the second level of the building and moved towards the front as they got more and more comfortable in front of the camera. You can definitely feel the love between them and it certainly shows in their images. 

Although we can't share too many details of their wedding yet, we do know their wedding is going to be intimate and gorgeous, just like them. We're so grateful to be able to be at the beginning of their lives. We are privileged, or should I say, honored to be able document their wedding later this year at Surf and Sand Resort in Laguna Beach.

Pasadena City Hall Engagement Photography | Araceli and Jose

Araceli and Jose made this engagement session so easy and flawless. They wanted a bit of architecture with some greenery and as we discussed a few options they agreed that Pasadena City Hall would be the ideal spot. They were so excited as they never took pictures together before this and what better place to share some time alone and begin their married life together! 

They were a little nervous to begin the session (although we don't think so), so be sure to give them some encouraging comments below!

Analin & Javier Wedding | 10.15.2011

Gina and I had the honor of assisting Jackie Lamas with Analin & Javier's beautiful wedding day. They are such a beautiful and family-oriented couple, and it showed throughout the whole day. From Analin's mom & dad passing on their advice and love, to her sister's pouring out their feelings with heart-felt words of kindness and wishes for a happy life together. The wedding ceremony took place at St. John the Baptist Church in Baldwin Park. Then we headed over to Pasadena City Hall to take a few portraits of the wedding party. After that it was off to the Diamond Bar Center to partayyyy!!

Here are a few shots we took. It was always a beautiful experience to enjoy two lovebirds join their lives together with family and loved ones.
