Surprise Proposal in Los Olivos, CA | Sean and Gianna

When Sean called us to let us know he was planning to propose to his girlfriend, Gianna we couldn't be more excited to hear about his idea! When we showed him a few locations, he was so excited he wanted to go up and scout the area out. 

His general plan was to propose at a location that was pretty private as him and his girlfriend are pretty low key. Then we were planning on going into town in Los Olivos where the rest of their friends and family were waiting to celebrate the news!

After securing the location for him, we headed up and stealthily waited for him and Gianna to arrive. Usually I like to "hide" so I don't spoil the surprise, but I stepped out of my hiding spot and Gianna actually saw me! I was freaking out as I thought I ruined it for Sean! But she thought I worked at the vineyard and it didn't phase her that someone else was there! Whew!

When the time came, Sean did his part and the rest is history! As you can tell, Gianna was pretty excited and after taking some portraits around the area, we told them we were leaving and would be in touch. Since Gianna didn't know the rest of their families were waiting for them, she had no clue we actually left to go to the second winery to photograph the second surprise with their family! 

We couldn't be happier for them as their friends and family were so excited for them as emotions were running high both before and after the surprise!

Santa Barbara Hyatt Wedding | Georgia and Peter

We can't express how much we love Santa Barbara. We love Santa Barbara Weddings even more. And to photograph Georgia and Peter in Santa Barbara for their wedding was absolutely awesome and we loved every minute of it. 

They were so relaxed and easy going throughout the whole day, we had to remind ourselves we were at their wedding! Their family and friends were so warm and welcoming and to be able to celebrate their wedding with them was so much fun!

The Canary Hotel in Santa Barbara Wedding Photography | Mary and Jeremy

Gina and I had so much fun with Mary & Jeremy at the Canary Hotel in Santa Barbara. We were also able to incorporate the theater where they first met in some of our shots. They're such an incredible couple and we were so glad to be a part of their beautiful day. Jessica & Nick in Santa Barbara | Wedding Photography

Simple, classy and in love. Jessica & Nick definitely epitomize those words and it showed on their wedding day. We started the day at Fess Parker's Doubletree Resort to get ready for their day. Then we met everyone at the Santa Barbara Courthouse for an intimate and beautiful ceremony. The love between each other and also for their family was evident throughout the day.

We were so honored to be able to share their day! We hope you enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed taking them!!

After the ceremony, they had their first dance as a married couple and Nick was beaming from ear to ear!!

Once the Mural Room was empty, they enjoyed a few minutes alone. And what a beauty that room is!!

From the rivets in the pews, intricate tilework to the murals on the walls the room provided the perfect spot for some bridal portraits... and the light coming through added that nice extra touch!

Mary & Jeremy at Disneyland | Engagement Session Photography

Chris and I often talk about how lucky we are to be able to work with such amazing couples and Mary and Jeremy are no exception!

Like most soon-to-be brides, Mary has been planning her perfect wedding day since she was a little girl. Starting with the perfect dress, perfect ring and of course the perfect man. So on that perfect day, when Jeremy got down on one knee on top of that cliff in San Diego, she knew exactly what she wanted.

Although it's over an hour away, their love for Disneyland has them visiting regularly. So it was the perfect setting to capture their love for one another and share how amazing they truly are.

Mary and Jeremy, we had such a blast hanging out at The Happiest Place on Earth with one of our happiest couples on Earth!

We look forward to continuing the celebration of your love for one another in September!
